"Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin" is an upcoming Indian film which stars Jimmy Shergill, Shruti Seth, and Vinay Pathak. The plot revolves around a college going boy who is caught cheating by his girlfriend and decides to take refuge in the internet where he seeks friendship from random strangers on social networking sites. When his post goes viral with bad implications, he comes under massive scrutiny from the social media world. The film was directed by Tanuja Chandra and produced by Amit Mittal. The story revolves around a 21-year-old guy named Armaan (Jimmy Shergill) and his love life which falls apart after he cheats on his girlfriend Shruti (Shruti Seth). The guy, who hails from Delhi and lives with his parents, tries to make amends with Shruti but she refuses to speak to him again. The reason behind Armaan’s fall from grace is not just because he cheated on Shruti but also because he cheated on her with a girl who wasn’t as good as her. Armaan is offered a way out of all his problems. He goes on to create an identity on Facebook, which he uses to meet girls just like Shruti. There, he starts getting noticed by girls who are being catfished by their boyfriends. He starts seeing how these girls are being subjected online and tries to help them despite the fact that it's hurting him too. The film also stars Vinay Pathak as Armaan's friend whom he can turn to whenever things become too much for him. The character will be played by Amit Shergill in the movie, who will voice the role of Armaan's mother. The makers also revealed the role of Armaan’s father, who will be played by Pankaj Sharma. The film is slated to release on April 20, 2015. The film's first look poster was released on Twitter on 5 March 2015, featuring the lead actors Jimmy Shergill and Shruti Seth with the tagline "No one does it better than you". The poster was re-tweeted by Amitabh Bachchan who had tweeted about his association with the film. The first official poster for the movie was released on March 27 ,2015. It features the lead actor Jimmy Shergill. The tagline of the poster reads "You are the best". The trailer for this film was released on 2 April 2015. Before production began, music composer Himesh Reshammiya was approached to compose music for this movie, however he turned it down because he felt his music could not be used in any kind of commercial fashion.
